Grammy 2011: Trionfo per Jay-Z e Lady Antebellum

Nella giornata di ieri, allo Staples Center di Los Angeles, si sono tenuti gli attesi Grammy Awards 2011, una delle manifestazionipiù ambite nel settore. I Lady Antebellum, trio country al secondo disco con Need To Know sono stati i veri trionfatori dell’edizione di quest’anno con cinque premi, tra cui i prestigiosi Song of the Year e Record of the Year. Grande successo anche per Jay-Z ed Eminem che, con rispettivamente tre e due statuette, monopolizzano i premi dedicati al rap.

Tra gli altri vincitori, posizioni di prestigio per Arcade Fire (Album of the Year), Muse (Rock Album), Lady Gaga (Pop Vocal Album e Female Pop Vocal Performance) e il supergruppo Them Crooked Vultures (Hard Rock Performance).

Dal punto di vista delle esibizioni, la serata del 13 febbraio verrà ricordata per una “Maggie’s farm” suonata da Bob Dylan e Mumford and Sons e per il debutto di “Born this way” di Lady Gaga, oltre alle performances di Florence and the Machine, Muse ed Eminem con Dr. Dre.
